Speaker Bio
Harry ''Red" Conger IV is President and Chief Operating Officer – Americas and Africa Mining. He has over 30 years of mining industry experience, including 21 years of experience with Freeport-McMoRan Inc. and Phelps Dodge Corporation. He has served as Chief Operating Officer - Americas and Africa Mining since July 2015, and as President - Americas since 2007. Prior to 2007, he served in a number of senior operations positions at Phelps Dodge Corporation until being named President – Americas in 2007 following FCX’s acquisition of Phelps Dodge. He recently served as Chairman of the National Mining Association 2014-2015, where he has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2007. He received a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and was honored with a Distinguished Achievement Medal in 2007. He completed post-graduate executive management studies at Duke University Fuqua School of Business and Whitmore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.

Costs:

$32 SME Tucson members who reserve by deadline.

$40 non-members who reserve by deadline.

Add $3 to above ($35/$43) for late RSVPs if space allows.
Free for current UA mining students who are UA SME members.

Payable at the door by cash, credit card, or check payable to SME Tucson.

Cost does not include bar drinks. Cash bar is available.

Cancellations and No Shows:

Please call or email by the registration deadline to cancel. If you do not cancel your reservation by the deadline, SME is still required to pay for your dinner and you will in turn be billed. Thank you.
